About the Facilitator

Eta Ingham Lawrie, Weaving Colours, Trigonos

Eta Ingham Lawrie is a renowned artist whose work has spanned over six decades, bringing light, warmth, and colour into the lives of many. From small-scale textile pieces for individuals to grand, large-scale hangings for public buildings and private collectors, her creations are celebrated for their boldness and subtlety.

Inspired by the ever-changing light over land and sea, Eta’s woven wall hangings are crafted with hand-dyed fleece, wool, and other natural materials. She also integrates found objects like stone, shell, and wood, bringing a unique, organic element to her weavings. Her work is a harmonious blend of artistic vision and the natural world, offering a deeply sensory experience.

Daily Schedule:

7:30 am – Breakfast together
9:00 am – Weaving
1:00 pm – Lunch together
2:00 pm – Weaving
4:00 pm – Afternoon tea together
5:00 pm – Weaving
7:00 pm – Dinner together
8:00 pm – Wind down or continue weaving (your choice)


Cost

Residential Rates – Prices start from £562.00 per person, including facilitator fees, accommodation, and all-inclusive catering.

You can choose from the following options:

Single Occupancy:

  • Double Bed Ensuite: £742.00

  • Single Bed Ensuite: £712.00

  • Single Bed Non-Ensuite: £592.00

Shared Twin Occupancy:

  • Double Bed Ensuite: £592.00

  • Single Bed Ensuite: £577.00

  • Single Bed Non-Ensuite: £562.00

Non-Residential Rate – £398.50 per person, including facilitator fees and all-inclusive catering (excluding breakfast).

Concession: Trigonos offers a 30% discount on residential rates for Nantlle Valley residents, unemployed individuals, and retirees. For non-residential participants, a 10% discount is available for the same groups. Proof of eligibility (e.g., relevant documentation) is required to confirm your discount.

Retired would include those over 65, in receipt of state pension, or personal pension.

Nantlle Valley residents would include those living in Nantlle, Tanrallt, Drws Y Coed, Talysarn, Penygroes, Rhyd Ddu, Llanlynfi, Y Fron, Cilgwyn, Carmel, Y Groeslon, Rhos Isaf, Rhostryfan, Rhosgadfan, Dolydd, Dinas, Llanwnda, Bethesda Bach, Dinas Dinlle, Saron, Llandwrog, Pontllynfi, Aberdesach, Nebo, Nasarth, Tai’n Lon, Capel Isaf, Pant Glas, Clynnog Fawr, Gryn Goch.

Unemployed would include those out of paid work and in receipt of Universal Credit.
