Accidents can happen at any time, and when they do, a quick and confident response can make a vital difference.
TutorCare’s three-day First Aid at Work course is designed to give participants the knowledge, practical skills and confidence needed to respond effectively to medical emergencies in the workplace.
Delivered by experienced trainers, the course covers a wide range of essential first aid skills, from cardiac arrest, serious bleeding and burns to broken bones, allergic reactions and other medical emergencies.
The course is particularly suitable for people working in higher-risk environments, including warehouses, construction sites and other workplaces where more serious injuries may occur.
What to expect:
Over three days, you'll learn how to confidently respond to a wide range of workplace emergencies through a combination of practical exercises and tutor-led learning. Topics include CPR, the use of an AED, treating wounds and burns, managing fractures, choking, strokes, heart attacks, allergic reactions, diabetic emergencies, and other common first aid situations, along with workplace responsibilities such as accident reporting and health and safety requirements.
Timings of the day
The course runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm each day.
There will be scheduled breaks throughout the day, including a lunch break.
A homemade wholesome packed lunch is available as an optional extra for £13.50 per person, per day. Each packed lunch includes a freshly prepared main meal, a snack and a drink. Please let us know in advance if you would like to add this to your booking.
Cost
£195 per person.
The course fee includes all three days of training and refreshments throughout the course.
