Training Retreat to Teach The Present: A Primary School Programme

The Present is a new approach to offering learning about wellbeing and mindfulness to children in primary schools aged 3 – 11 and also to support the adults working with them. Exploration is woven through the school day, connected to everyday activities and boosted with mindfulness practices.

The first The Present teacher training retreat will be an opportunity to combine two days of retreat in beautiful Snowdonia at the beginning of our time together with three and a half days of The Present training, with retreat time morning and evening on those days. There are only 15 places so please book early.

 

Sarah Silverton has been teaching and training in mindfulness-based approaches for around 20 year and was a member of the CMRP core training team since CMRP was established in 2001. She received MBCT training from Mark Williams and attended a 9 week MBSR Intern programme at Centre for Mindfulness, Massachusetts USA in 1999studying with Jon Kabat-Zinn, Melissa Blacker and Florence Meleo-Meyer (amongst others) She has co-authored Paws b (KS2), b Foundations (adults) and, most recently The Present.
